  2. I came up with the same number as you did, none.
  3. £99 on Andertons. https://www.andertons.co.uk/behringer-meatball-envelope-filter-pedal/?search_query=behringer meatball
  4. yes it certainly sounds like the preferred option, thanks very much for all the responses. a combination of a curved body, a belly carve and a front carve like the mk1 should work well
  5. I admire what you are suggesting. However, the thread is into many pages now and as we know people do not read through all the posts and many have a short memory. This was always going to happen with a thread like this, so just roll with it.
  6. Youre in the right place, just wrong picture / details. Also add a note in any new pics to show your username and the current date (forum rules)
  7. Thanks for sharing that. Be interesting to see what Behringer are going to be retailing these for? Hopefully will put these within reach of many more musos given that the original Lovetone Meatball typically sells for around £750 used!

  8. By a luthier/specialist; just looking for a ballpark figure. Assume entire instrument sent rather than body only. Nothing fancy, a solid colour, perhaps a light metallic fleck. Any recommendations of people who are particularly well regarded for this type of work? Cheers, Rich
  9. Ah….a post comic/highjacker! That should cost you a pack of strings. I’ll pm you my address!🤫
  10. You probably don’t need to say much about it… I’m a hardcore fan of Spencer’s 3 Leaf Audio pedals, but in my enthusiasm I ended up buying some pedals twice (why, actually!?). This one has only been sitting on the shelf; the previous owner attached Velcro to the bottom for mounting on a board, which I left on in case someone wants to use it that way. Very light signs of use, see pictures (the iPhone camera is so good that I probably should’ve dusted beforehand… ;). With this generation of the pedal, the lettering is known to flake off a bit, so these are definitely not “rock wear marks.” To my ears, the ultimate octaver: best tracking, fat, punchy, and especially with the fantastic Sub option for that typical Tim Lefebvre / Jojo Mayer Nerve sound. Price: 430 GBP / €490 including shipping (EU and UK). The usual stuff: Since the new EU regulation now provides for a 1-year warranty even for private customers unless the seller excludes it, I hereby declare that I do not assume any warranty for the items I sell privately within the meaning of the EU directive. The sale is made under exclusion of any liability for material defects. No returns.
  11. I have in the past dismantled a GK 200MB combo, and the speaker wires on that are really thin - what I would think of as flexible hookup wire. And GK probably know what they're doing (although personally I wouldn't go for anything that thin, I use whatever spare mains lead is knocking around).
  12. I tried a bassboard at the guitar and bass show in Solihull earlier in the year. It was excellent, and I have added one to my ever expanding list of things I want to build if I ever have the time.

  14. That is a very cute thing!
  15. I do, as long as Zoom keeps putting out their small cheap multiFX stuff I've been using since about 2000. No need to spend more, ever. Sounds as good as anything, you just need to know how to sound, how to get your tone on any platform. Zoom is just another platform. That's it.
  16. Photobook of the Police in their formative months. Ridiculously expensive at £80, yours for half price plus postage - the ideal Xmas gift for someone? Pics shortly, but here’s a link to a video in the meanwhile.

  18. Phil Thanks for this. I did read an article that said AWG 4 (yep that's not a typo) should be used. Not sure I've seen anything that thick TBH. My AWG 16 will be fine then. I'll cut a bit off and solder it down. Does the cable need to be glued down to stop vibration at all? I'm assuming not but checking anyway. Thanks Rob
