  1. Past hour
  2. Sad day. Glasgow store used to be Sound Control where I bought a musicman stingray. Which I still have
  3. Drums don’t tend to sound great through guitar or bass amps, due to their limited frequency range. You’d be best off with a full range cab for that purpose.
  4. Hi, Just weighed it and it's a little under 4kg (3.95?). It using domestic scales but I'd say that's about right. It's a great bass for the £, lots of positive comment on the sound and looks ......
  5. Looks fantastic! Daryl
  6. As suspected no problem at all with the bridge pins, they all come out perfectly easily.
  7. Mapped out my biggest pedal board build. Power is next. Going through Boss Looper on floor along with a few bass pedals. Guitar to stereo amp and bass to bass amp, with rhythm going to both. Bass and Guitar are both going through the Boss Looper
  8. Two 'Best Purchases' for me, nothing particularly bad this year... First is a Warwick Streamer LX that I got from eBay for an absolute steal. Needed new tuners (which I got from here!) and new strings, which I had, other than that its in exceptional condition and sounds brutal with that awesome Warwick growl. The second, was a Tamburo Opera Stave 7 piece kit with a full suite of Meinl Custom Classic Dark cymbals. This is an astonishing kit... FAR better than I deserve, but I love it.
  9. Recently took this wonderful Nordstand Power Blade 4 out of one of my P basses as I've been looking for a more vintage tone. The pickup has the black magnets (which have some wear from playing) for the stealth look and has an amazing, punchy modern p tone with a very lovely mid range presence. Can include the black pickup screws that came with it. £80 delivered ono
  10. Having spent way too much time looking at amps and cabinets today. The "GP11 Mk V" (left) would seem a good option at £250 but it's in Scotland. The AH250 (right) has UV light goodness, and separate amp/cab seems a good idea, and it's closer to home. Maybe I'm being picky, but I don't like that the amp isn't the same size as the cabinet for stacking. Either way, today I'm tending towards a 4x10" rather than a 15". Tomorrow may change!
  11. I see. I'm aware of the preset relief, I thought you meant yours had something wrong with it! The action is very low on mine as it is. I think the previous line of Vigiers with the graphite neck had a completely flat relief.
  12. I'm glad it's not just me, I bought one and had to send it back as it was so awful!
  13. If this was an 8… id still be skint 😣
  14. Yea it’s still for sale. Sent you a personal message.
  15. Today
  16. Oops!...I Did It Again - Britney Spears
  17. Slowly clearing out my collection of these, this is my last one. Hardly used, great condition, has 97% the sound of the Acme Motown DI when tested in the studio. Bombproof and tiny. Not a lot else to say really
  18. Met Lozz at the regulation motorway services car park to collect a nice Mustang bass off him. Had a nice, albeit brief, natter about basses and football (as you do) and realised its a terrifying 11 years since I last met him in the flesh for a bass deal. Tempus fugit!
  19. Registering my interest for a MM SR4 neck!
  20. MXR Bass Octave Deluxe, early model I believe, so has a bit of noise when used. Can be heard in this video, I might be overly cautious mentioning the noise. If you can’t hear it, great, grab a bargain.
  21. Reduced to £75 before eBay beckons. In very good condition, boxed and fully functional. Can be powered with a 9volt battery or a power supply. A PSU is also included in the sale as well as a Midi lead and a printed A4 manual. Please note photo shows 2 Midi leads in error, only one with the pedal - the longer one. Peter The Midi Moose is battery operable and provides a minimum of 200 hours usage. A cutting edge battery feature turns off the numerical display after 5 seconds in oder to conserve power. In the event that you forget which preset you were on, you can step on the individual patch LED that is still it, waking up the display to your previous display without making any changes. Specificiations MIDI I/O: Out Height: 1.5" Width: 17" Depth: 3.6"
