  2. Thanks, Mokl. I was running two as a vertical stack – best live sound I've ever had!
  3. The DM610 is a large bookshelf/standmount speaker from renowned hi-fi brand B&W, featuring a well-braced 30-litre sealed cabinet with 8-inch mid-bass driver. The larger driver and extra cabinet space create a much better low end range than from most similar speakers. This model allows for either bi-wiring or bi-amplification. These speakers present clean tight bass response, surprisingly clear mids for such a large driver and the pleasant highs that the well-designed B&W tweeter at that time was famous for. They can be driven quite loud, enough for the physical effect of the bass to be felt without audible distortion or a sense of sound compression. Both speakers are in Very Good condition, especially for their vintage. All-original, complete with full grilles (one of which has a small hole, shown in the final photo). Only £125. Collection from Bournemouth BH6 preferred. Here comes the science bit… Type: 2-way closed, shelf speaker Colour: Ash black veneer Dimensions: 490 x 236 x 303 mm (H x W x D) Weight: 7.8 kg Recommended amplifier power: 30-150 W Frequency response: 70 - 20,000 Hz (±2 dB) Crossover: 2500 Impedance: 4 Ohm
  4. The ROLAND KD-8 Kick Pad is a lightweight 8-inch high-quality trigger pad designed for V Drums, featuring a solid durable metal and rubber construction. Its compact size and lightweight design make it easy to transport and store, making it a versatile option for drummers looking for a reliable and high-quality kick pad to enhance their performance. Designed to replicate the sound and feel of a traditional kick drum. Great condition: tested and in full working order. Will work with all Roland TD modules. Selling due to kit upgrade. Width: 27cm Depth: 26cm Height: 40.5cm Weight: 6 lbs 7oz Only £55. Collection from Bournemouth BH6 preferred.
  5. Up for sale is this very nice Yamaha QY700. This one has a bright upgraded screen, all buttons working and flawless operation. It's also upgraded with a GOTEK drive to store as many sequences as you can throw at it. It's pretty much future-proofed for a good while. A rock solid workhorse, this is a great centrepiece for a DAWLess set up. Only selling as I have another sequencer that's smaller This is a great piece of classic tech. Famously used by Squarepusher. It's a lovely sequencer with a tweakable GM library (but I only use it to drive external gear)- very powerful and solid as a rock timing-wise. Perfect for those who want to get away from screens.

  6. Up for sale is this beautiful 12 bit sampler from around 1988. It's a Roland S550 with 8 separate outs and a top end GOTEK drive (with LCD screen) ready stocked with most of the available sample libraries and several hundred blank floppies. The sound in the video is the classic 'Air' choir. The library runs the full gamut of Roland's offering plus lots of other stuff including drum machines/ synths. acoustic instruments etc It's very powerful with the multiple outs. Monitor included. It's B/W and is essential for running the S550 to its full extent. It's in great nick and includes the original box and a manual etc It's a fantastic piece of gear and sounds very good indeed, but I need to streamline due to lack of space. Apologies for the rubbish pic of the back, it's a bit close to the wall for a wide shot but it looks nice and clean and, most importantly, all the outputs work! Pick up only nr Tun Wells/Ashford IMG_4455.mov

  7. Take a screenshot of the image and use that. A quick and dirty way to change format 😀
  8. Darkglass B7K Ultra V2 with original box. In good condition with velcro on underside. £260 posted. Thanks for looking.
  9. Great bit of kit this and I love mine. You won't be disappointed if you're after some EQ, Gain and Compression. GLWTS lapolpora
  10. Use off cuts of string as a gauge. Fine wet & dry round a string off cut? I have used a round needle file - turning round at the appropriate width, rather back and forth where just the odd nut slot needed attention. I wonder if something in the Model Making world might fit the bill for hobby or infrequent use.
  11. makes me laugh every year
  12. Fixed....😉🤣
  13. And here's a short demo vid for this amp - one of the best I've ever seen for any amp head! EBS 360 HD demo
  14. I take it you clicked on the link…..
  15. So, will you be keeping the ES-60, or would this be a deal-breaker for you? Is it working as a home piano, for you and your family?
  16. Kill me now. Please. 🤦‍♂️

  18. September ‘23 for me. I bought a classical guitar in early ‘24, but that’s it. It’s not like I don’t have GAS at all, far from it, but my will power is much improved. Well, that and being in the middle of nowhere, with no bass outlets less that a 90 minute drive, each way. There’s a Maruszczyk fretless P type at @Bass Direct that has caught my eye ( https://www.bassdirect.co.uk/product/maruszczyk-jake-4p-fretless-red-trans-gloss/ ), but that’s a 5 hours drive (I have trade ins I’d need to do) and I’m also tempted by one of those SBMM Ray2s. Still 3 weeks to go to fall off of the wagon .
  19. If you’re only going to do it once then a cheap set is fine, depends how many nut replacements you plan on doing in the future…
  20. Super rare Iron Ether Super FrantaBit - basically two FranaBits in one box, with foot switches to flip flop between them both, as well as switch between Degrade and Obliterate mode. One of the most versatile and sought after Bit Crushers ever made. Grab this now, without the painfully long wait, shipping, and a massive VAT bill when it arrives in the UK! Now £385, inc postage in the UK. Selling this to buy a Hologram Microcosm (had one, massive regrets over selling it), but will consider the following trades/part-exs: Hologram Microcosm, Red Panda Tensor, Triungolo Barbanera. Iron Ether Polytope, Iron Ether Xerograph, Providence Anadime Bass Chorus, Ibanez Ashula SRAS7 (Dragon Eye Burl finish).

  22. Just a post in praise of the TI JR. Obv, not to your taste, and that is cool. But if anyone out there likes a nice, compliant string that is a bit (tiny bit) rubbery/bendy, then this is the set you are seeking.
  23. Looking forward to these being available in Europe & UK. I loved the HA3500 powerful with great tone shaping and a handy compressor. The weight was the only factor that stopped me buying one. Always loved graphic EQs since my first Acoustic rig in late 70s and numerous Trace Elliots since, but these days I only use lightweight gear. I have been using the Hartke LX8500 for a few years now, it's a really great amp. Love the retro look (slighty Acoustic Control Corp vibe) of the TX7500, which will probably be my next amp purchase.
  24. In excellent condition with no dings or scratches just some light play swirls. Active EQ and all works as it should, no issues, no bag but I do have a proper shipping box. Shipping UK £15. £395
