  1. Past hour
  2. I’d say an end pin is under the ruling of a bass stand. Just checked my messages and last bass I bought was 2023! Unfortunately it’s not through lack of GAS though, so you must have a disease 😂
  3. Let's Get Blind - Sack Street Rock
  4. I don't need that sort of negativity in my life........
  5. Blinded by the Light - Bruce Springsteen
  6. Doctor My Eyes - Jackson Browne
  7. Very clean Behringer bass v-amp pro rack mounted effects unit. It has loads of amp and cab simulations as well as effects and built in tuner. I just don't ever use it these days so here it is! Postage would be about £8 royal mail second class.
  8. Love my John Taylor 5 in black. The Neve preamp is super sounding and the passive tone control is full of goodness. Such a great bass!!
  9. A bit of modification on my stingray5, changed the pickguard and made a control plate out of an old standard 5 pickguard
  10. So true. . . .
  11. I understand your curiosity ! but I'd rather not do it myself since the ramp seems to be securely attached to the body. I mean I don't think there's any problem removing it but perhaps during a routine visit to a luthier ? Thanks for your comment!

  13. Because most of my cabs never get truly finished I've a lot of loose wires in many cabs, and vibrating wires do happen but not often. I usually fix one end to the speaker itself with cable ties leaving enough slack to avoid stressing the connections but tight enough not to flap around. I bury the other end under any wadding and that stops that moving. I don't leave a lot of slack though, just enough to be able to remove the drive unit easily
  14. Yeah they’re lovely bodies, let me know if you want me to send it down 😉
  15. I came up with the same number as you did, none.
  16. £99 on Andertons. https://www.andertons.co.uk/behringer-meatball-envelope-filter-pedal/?search_query=behringer meatball
  17. yes it certainly sounds like the preferred option, thanks very much for all the responses. a combination of a curved body, a belly carve and a front carve like the mk1 should work well
  18. I admire what you are suggesting. However, the thread is into many pages now and as we know people do not read through all the posts and many have a short memory. This was always going to happen with a thread like this, so just roll with it.
  19. Youre in the right place, just wrong picture / details. Also add a note in any new pics to show your username and the current date (forum rules)
  20. Thanks for sharing that. Be interesting to see what Behringer are going to be retailing these for? Hopefully will put these within reach of many more musos given that the original Lovetone Meatball typically sells for around £750 used!
  21. By a luthier/specialist; just looking for a ballpark figure. Assume entire instrument sent rather than body only. Nothing fancy, a solid colour, perhaps a light metallic fleck. Any recommendations of people who are particularly well regarded for this type of work? Cheers, Rich
  22. Ah….a post comic/highjacker! That should cost you a pack of strings. I’ll pm you my address!🤫
