I very often use the passenger seat of our little Rover 25 - seat reclined a bit - bass upside down and secured with the seatbelt. Works a treat. A bit more of a pain to get in and out, but not much. I can carry a double bass, our PA, and my Bass amplification - and if someone else carries one of the PA speakers - I can carry a back seat passenger too. -

I vaugely now remember taking mine down to 1/4 to get a much cleaner tone. Eventually swapped it to a LHZ pre though for the HAZ tone.

By my maths that is two 200w tube amos. Divide and conquer. -
Can you provide SUB neck measurements? Nut width and depth, width and depth at 12th fret and at the heel plus heel length? I suspect there might be differences to discourage neck swapping between models but I can compare your measurements (if you have them) to my bass and we can both take a view. -
I really needed this one. Great gig. We were clicking on all 6 cylinders from the first couple bars of the first song. We played from 3-5 with a 20 minute break. Stage volume was great. The crowd loved us. Daryl

Yeah, i sprayed Shoreline Gold on the underside of the clear pickguard, to conceal the control cavity. After doing that, I also applied copper shielding tape on that area of the pickguard, to assist with the control cavity screening.

Cut the face plate holes and fitted the rear panel hardware.
