  2. I would suggest just using an instrument lead between guitar and mixer and then working out whether there's anything more that you need. Can't get much cheaper than that.

  4. Shakespeare described it centuries ago: "It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing."

Haven't yet - on my list of things to do. From what I have read / watched though it looks pretty straight forward and i reckon I won't be doing much more than what @dave_bass5 is doing... turning stuff off and on and moving up and down patches...
  6. A perfect example of why I stopped going there 13 years ago. It's like watching the Gallaudet University Marching Band, led by Stevie Wonder as the Drum Major. 🤥
  7. Damn this sounds good with my maple/rounds P; I may just try to find a way to keep it.
  8. It may be a way to get in touch off Reverb as bypassing Reverb for a sale also means avoiding Reverb's fees - something that comes in handy if you see something on Reverb that's in Warwick or Leamington Spa, ie Bass Direct or Bass Bros, as it's cheaper going via the store.
  9. @BassYerbouti https://www.talkbass.com/threads/orange-sp212-need-feedback.1107186/ Interesting thread with input from some members that post here. it does descend into chaos by page 3 but there's some useful info.
  10. I have exactly the same combos and echo your comments 100%. The 100 is unbelievably light, the 500 still manageable and both are fabulous things!
  11. I've got three which are rather more expensive options - Nux Mighty Plug, Boss Katana Go gen 1, and Positive Grid Spark Neo. The Spark Neo is nice if headphone wires annoy you. The Mighty Plug and Katana Go let you use your own headphones - I think the sound quality on the Katana Go is a little better than the Nux but it's not a great difference. All three let you connect with Bluetooth to play along with your chosen music.
  12. Hey @Shaggy — I realise this is a super long shot, as this was posted months ago, but... Do you still have this case at all?
  13. can't see the harm in sending a vid, just be wary of suspicious follow ups, like paying via paypal, I never sold anything on Reverb so not sure what the procedure is
  14. I did some personalised LED lighting a few years ago. Maybe a bit of added decoration for the 8" cab...

  16. I have been looking for one of these.. I hear good things about them
  17. Hello, selling a thing on reverb, just got an offer with a request for a video of the item to be sent over whatsapp.. seems like a scamy thing. but I am new to reverb. "Excuse me, could you send me a video of the product review via Watsap? I want to make sure that the product belongs to you, because I'm afraid of being caught by scammers. Watsap +44 738 909 8xxx" Anyone have any experience in scamland? is this just a gateway spoof to get me to loose my shirt and other items of clothing?
  18. Search has most definitely been broken by a recent update to the forum software. I've just done a search for "PRS". as well as PRS it also brings up results for PR and words starting with "pr" that have an s in them. This needs to get fixed ASAP, because I have been able to do a search for "PRS" in the past and only get results with the actual combination of letters PRS.
  19. Also…don’t mind a trade for a decent bass cab…???
  20. Hi everyone, I’m looking for some bass strings, preferably 45-105 hex core, I’ve been a fan of Stainless steel round wounds. I was a big fan of DR DDT strings but the price of these are astronomical in my eyes. I got a deal on Warwick red label strings which I use for gigging purposes and last alright but will be heading to the studio in Jan so want to use some nice strings for then. I like strings that keep their zing and don’t dull down very quickly so any advice would be great. Cheers.
  21. Dr J Sparrow sold the the man in the hat 🎩 other things still lurking.
  22. I'm currently using a Barefaced Two10 which I have generally been very happy with in terms of size, weight and performance. However, the vintage flavour of the cab is not suiting what I play these days and I have for a while been looking at changing it for something that is cleaner, tighter and more articulate. I'm currently leaning towards the Barefaced Super Compact which I believe will tick the boxes for my needs but I am also curious about the LFSys Monaco and Monza after positive customer reviews on here. They all seem pretty similar in application from what I have read so far, so I am just looking for feedback from those who have more real world experience in these cabs than me. Is there much differences between the three cabs? What is the difference between the LFSys Monaco and Monza over the different speaker sizes? Any pro's and cons between them all? I am currently using a 500w MarkBass Little Mark IV and play fretless. Many thanks for any input.
