I don't know who originally made it but I've had it a couple of years and added a Thunderbird neck. It's had a Rickenbacker 5 string pickup, so will need re-routing for another shape. Has a KiOgan wiring loom and the cavities have copper conductive tape. Paint job - not good - Halfords finest put on too quickly and not sanded down. Top is finished with a vinyl wrap (which doesn't hide the paint inconsistencies underneath). Great if you want that 'Rat' look.

Don't overthink it. I left a band because people who knew my situation were too immature to recognise how it was affecting me mentally, even when I told them to cut me some slack. If you are not aware of things going on in his life that are preventing him from picking up the phone you can't temper your response accordingly. If he has always been rubbish with comms, that may be why A wants to get rid of him. If it's a new new thing then it probably needs a chat, or he will walk anyway.

I am a fan of the Boss Katana Go. A huge variety of excellent tones from the built in amp models and effects, and bluetooth connectivity means you can play along to songs from your phone wire-free. It can also act as a digital interface to a computer. It's a more expensive option but the sound quality and convenience make it worthwhile for me.

Makes sense. Maybe they pointed to MM, as it has colored wires and would be easier to identify. As P has two black, two whites. Not sure, and they didn't elaborate. But I'm happy as long as it is working now Here she is, finally, in all her glory! -
Keith McMillen KMI 12 Step and MIDI Expander This is the original KMI 12 Step Controller. It can be used as a set of bass pedals, to trigger chords, samples or even drum sounds. I’ve used it with a variety of synth modules for adding strings and organ for live gigs. I’m now playing more keyboards live so I’ve gone back to my Hammond bass pedals. There is software online to hook it up to a computer or iPad but I’ve always used it with hardware and it has done the job really well. I’ve colour coded the ins and outs with tape but can remove if required I’ve also taped the note names on the unit as I found it easier to see live. I used masking tape so it’s easy to remove without much residue to clean. KMI has now been rebranded as Muse Kinetics since Keith McMillen sadly died last year. Support is still available for all the KMI branded versions of their products. It’s really small and neat compared to a traditional bass pedal controller and weighs next to nothing. The unit itself is slim and made from woven carbon fibre. I have the original (tatty) packaging for both the pedals and the expander. I’ve included a link so you can see what it does. The Mark 2 version retails at around £435 street. The included MIDI expander was bought separately for £65 as I wanted to integrate it with my outboard hardware rather than use it with my computer. Postage at buyer’s cost UK only. No trades.

Marc S started following Columbus jazz bass - refurbed.

A Columbus Jazz was the first bass I ever played. A workmate owned it, and let me play it for a short while. This was before I had ever even thought about playing bass. (I had the loan of an awful Jedson guitar at the time). I had pondered picking one of these up - just because they're inexpensive, and for a trip down memory lane.... This is indeed a really nice restoration job 😀 GLWTS
